Yesterday we went in search for the entrance to a new walking trail that is still in the process of being constructed. Seems like it was about a year ago that they brought this walking bridge in and not long ago they paved a portion of the trail.
This walking trail is much closer than the “Rail Trail” and I have to admit it was a lot nicer. Even though it runs (walks?) right next to the highway it still seemed a bit more serene. Maybe it’s because there were less people or because the trail, for the most part, sets a little below the highway.
In any case, the kids had a lot of fun. Alexander brought his scooter and was bombing around on that (I have no idea when he started riding that thing.) Brionna had her shoes off and was running and dancing and having a grand old time. Scarlett was quiet until the end when sleepiness began to creep in.

This is the “nice” version of the one above. I saw this bridge get delivered. Pretty neat to walk on it after seeing that.
Kids were getting antsy at this point. We took like six picks and this is the best we could do. Maybe it’s my ugly mug!
